i love raf simons, and i love that he's so perfect for jil sander. obviously i love this ad campaign because it represents the image of the brand perfectly. it has that clean, minimalist aesthetic that has always been a jil sander trademark. just look at the ad campaign with guinevere a decade ago a couple of posts back and you can see the similarities. although i think the skull is a bit too much of a helmut lang thing, it does add that little touch and it actually makes sense considering in some odd way, there is something so pristine and pure about that dead animal's skull.
